DOMINIQUE PERRAULT & GAËLLE LAURIOT-PRÉVOST

Gaêlle Lauriot Prévost is a graduate of the Camondo School of Design in Paris. She joined Dominique Prevost in 1989 to work on the National Library of France and has been partnering with him ever since. Her interior and product designs are always created in response to the architecture, with a thorough attention to details. Starting from anonymous industrial objects, she designs unique and timeless pieces integral to the space they fit in. Dominique Perrault is a French architect specializing in large scale urban projects with technical challenges. He is known for projects such as the National Library of France, the velodrome and the Olympic swimming pool in Berlin, the EWHA Womans University in Seoul, the extension of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg. In recent years, his agency worked on several projects to rehabilitate monuments of the historical cultural heritage, including the Pavillon Dufour at the Château de Versailles and the historical Post Office building in the center of Paris.
