Studio Dechem

Founded in 2012, Dechem studio focuses on high-end design and production work, based on traditional production techniques and lyrical forms of its handmade glass products. Partners in both work and life, Michaela Tomišková and Jakub Janďourek established the studio in Prague after gaining extensive experience in design and production. They were able to merge all these aspects and create one of the leading and award-winning Czech design studios and brands providing full range of products and creative services.

All of their products are manufactured in traditional Czech workshops using delicate techniques, including hand-made blowing, snapping, cutting, grinding, firing, engraving and painting.

Along its own production, Dechem is also highly involved in bespoke design, special collaborations, exhibitions and curated projects in Czech Republic and abroad. The studio collaborates with renowned galleries, institutions and brands and won several prestigious awards.
